Announcing Overdeck Family Foundation’s Financial Support of the Tools Competition 2021-22

We're proud to support the 2021-22 Learning Engineering Tools Competition, alongside Schmidt Futures, Citadel founder and CEO Ken Griffin, Walton Family Foundation, and Siegel Family Endowment. Co-funding this event is an important next step in ensuring that we continue to make progress in our goal of finding and funding early stage organizations, and supporting them to develop, innovate, and test new solutions and programs that improve key academic and socio-emotional outcomes for all children.

A new report by the Center for Public Research and Leadership found that digitally-accessible high-quality instructional materials increased student learning and engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic, despite the additional challenges that students and families experienced due to remote learning. Q2 Funding Announcement

New Report: Learning at Home While Under-Connected—Lower-Income Families During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Compiled from survey data of 1,000 parents of children ages three to thirteen, with total household incomes below the national median of $75,000, this new report provides timely, pointed, and thought-provoking insights on the challenges of learning at home while being under-connected, as well as some unexpected bright spots from a year of pandemic learning and parenting.

NJPRF and Overdeck Family Foundation Partner with TCNJ to Launch Summer Tutoring Corps Program to Tackle COVID-Related Learning Loss

The NJ Summer Tutoring Corps Program is designed to accelerate student learning and address COVID-related learning loss. It's made possible through a combined $2.4 million grant from the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund and Overdeck Family Foundation.
