Morgan Solender, Portfolio Associate, sources and supports organizations focused on enhancing education in kindergarten through ninth grade. She collects and analyzes data from grantees and researchers to determine high-impact investment areas and aligned organizations, primarily for the Exceptional Educators portfolio, which aims to improve teacher effectiveness and the sustainability of the teaching role.
Previously, Morgan worked as an Education Researcher at SRI, where she contributed to evaluation projects focused on teaching quality and digital learning. She also served as the Director of Middle School Academics at CitySquash, a nonprofit enrichment program for low-income youth in the Bronx, New York.
Morgan holds an Ed.M. in Education Policy and Analysis from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in Educational Studies and Psychological & Brain Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis. In her free time, Morgan enjoys traveling, skiing, cheering on the Baltimore Ravens, and spending time with her friends and family.
