Carly Roberts, Program Officer, leads the Early Impact portfolio, which aims to create strong foundations for early learning by supporting families of young children.
Carly has worked in education and early childhood throughout her career, working as a consultant for school districts and coaching Head Start teachers prior to joining the Foundation in 2014. Her philanthropy experience includes consultancies with Robin Hood Foundation and the Newark Trust for Education. Carly also served as an AmeriCorps VISTA with Horton’s Kids, providing comprehensive services for children and families in an under-resourced neighborhood in Washington, D.C.
Carly earned a Master’s of Public Administration and Master’s of Public Health from Columbia University and graduated magna cum laude from George Washington University with a B.A. in Psychology. She enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, eating her way around NYC, and dancing, and now does all of those things with her husband and infant son.
