The STEM Funders Network (SFN) is a partnership involving 23 national and local STEM funders who have worked together to establish STEM Learning Ecosystems across the U.S.
SFN aims to establish 100 STEM Ecosystems by 2020, bringing together school districts, afterschool providers, institutions of higher education, cultural institutions, businesses, and families to provide engaging, high-quality STEM learning opportunities. These Ecosystems will connect formal and informal learning by aligning STEM learning both in and out of school. The goal of the ecosystems is to ensure that all children have the ability to cultivate their curiosity through STEM experiences.
