Brittany Sullivan

Senior Officer, Communications

Working at the intersection of communications, education, and philanthropy, I get to tap into the power of storytelling to further the efforts of incredible leaders and nonprofits that are making a very real, measurable difference in the lives of children, families, and educators. That’s why I love what I do.

Brittany Sullivan, Senior Communications Officer, is responsible for strengthening and expanding the Foundation’s mission and uplifting the work of its grantees through media relations and content creation.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Brittany was on the Corporate Communications team at Scholastic, where she led strategic public relations efforts for Pre-K-12 education solutions, helped develop national research reports, and served as editor for the Company’s education blog, in addition to managing an award-winning global Kid Reporter program.

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Brittany graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Public Relations and a minor in Western Art History and Architecture. Outside of work, Brittany loves to travel and rock climb, and is always exploring new restaurants and neighborhoods across New York City.
