Innovations to Strengthen the Teaching Profession: Rethinking Time, Technology, and Talent

On Wednesday, August 12, we hosted a conversation on promising approaches to strengthen the K-12 teaching profession.

Researchers and nonprofit leaders explored how AI-enabled professional learning tools and redesigned instructional models can improve teaching and learning, optimizing educators’ time in the classroom so they can better meet students’ needs. They also examined how strategic staffing models rethink the traditional “one teacher, one classroom” paradigm, increasing student access to the most effective teachers while also expanding professional growth opportunities.

Attendees left with insight into the evidence and impact behind these innovative approaches, and questions school and district leaders should ask when considering how they can best utilize time, technology, and talent to support students.
