Morgan Solender, Portfolio Associate, sources and supports organizations for the Foundation’s School Success portfolio. She collects and analyzes data from grantees and researchers to determine high-impact investment areas and aligned organizations that support the portfolio’s goal of increasing the number of kindergarten through eighth grade students demonstrating meaningful growth and proficiency in literacy and math.

Previously, Morgan worked as an Education Researcher at SRI, where she contributed to evaluation projects focused on teaching quality and digital learning. She also served as the Director of Middle School Academics at CitySquash, a nonprofit enrichment program for low-income youth in the Bronx, New York.

Morgan holds an Ed.M. in Education Policy and Analysis from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in Educational Studies and Psychological & Brain Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis. In her free time, Morgan enjoys traveling, skiing, cheering on the Baltimore Ravens, and spending time with her friends and family.
